This is to introduce and heartily recommend “Big Joe” Marshall. I have been working with him in his current capacity as Music Director and afternoon personality at K-Bear in Anchorage for several years now and can absolutely vouch for his creativity, high energy, great work ethic and people skills.

Joe came to the station to do midday and quickly rose to MD and the afternoon position. He has also been our designated morning drive fill personality since his arrival. The people at Morris Radio Group and Alaska Media Group from GM Dennis Bookey and PD Matt Valley are very sad to lose him, as am I. He has a way of taking even the most routine tasks and responsibilities and putting his personal stamp on them, by going more than an extra mile in execution of every duty.

His departure from Alaska is due only to family reasons, which is another indication of what a quality person Joe is. He’s looking for a position worth of his creativity and abilities in the lower 48, hopefully somewhere between Arizona and Florida.

I feel confident that I will be working with Marshall again at some point, because he’s someone I have come to know and highly respect.
