Name Mareike
About My name is Mareike and I have a BA in Speech Communications from MSSU, Joplin, MO. I have been in radio since January 2002. I've done nights and middays for modern rock and classic rock stations. Currently I have a gig as imaging voice for WFTK in Cincinnati and prior to that, imaging voice for WRRM in Cincinnati. I recently submitted my VO demo to The Howard Stern Show and when a budget opens, they would like to use my voice for imaging on one of his Sirius channels. My most recent gig was at KKEG 92.1 The Keg in Fayetteville, AR. I was on-air personality from April 2005 til October 2008. From June 2008 til October 2008 I was also the acting Program Director for KKEG. Due to the economy, like alot of us out here, I was let go. I am extremely passionate about radio and would love more than anything to get another full-time, on-air gig and am willing to relocate, in order to do so. While being on-air personality and doing VOs is what I truly love, I also have experience as Program Director and Traffic Manager.
