About I became interested in radio broadcasting in the early to mid 80s, having been brought up in and around the wonderful world of music within family and amongst many talented friends. I sought out many DJs and musicians in clubs and taverns, studying the workings of various recording/studio gear and learning how to play many different instruments, becoming more involved with percussion instruments, such as bass guitar & drums.

From there, I became proficient with the intricacies of radio broadcasting, going to live remotes (hosted by local radio stations) and visiting radio studios to see what being a radio personality was all about.
